NEW XXV CD - We have decided to release a special album this year of favorites and new songs to celebrate our 25th year as a family in full-time ministry. We are narrowing the songs down to about 12 for the CD which will include 1 brand new original, 1 brand new exciting hymn arrangement for our worship set, 1 new re-recording of a song we recorded more than 15 years ago, and the rest will be the very best of the best from the Itzels. We should have the album finished earlier than usual this year, so hopefully it should be ready by mid-Fall. Our 2016 tour will reflect a combination of the Worship set along with many of our greatest “hits”. More details to come…
PRAYER REQUESTS - I just want to take a moment and share my heart. 2015 continues to be a struggling year for us. We have had a difficult time filling in dates since 2009 when the economy took the hit and never recovered. Being as diversified of a ministry as we are, it takes a lot for us to “feel it” and I can tell you that we do. God has blessed us allowed us to keep our heads above water, but we can only continue to move slowly backwards for so long financially. We are praying for more monthly supporters as they have been used greatly by our Lord to meet the needs and continue in ministry. We have individuals, families and churches who invest in our ministry regularly. If you would like to join our team and help us advance the Kingdom through solid Biblical worship and teaching music, email me and I can let you know how you can help. We are also praying that pastors of struggling churches will not feel they cannot book us. I have been talking to several pastors over the last few weeks and have noticed a common thread in our conversations. Almost all of them didn't book our family for a concert because they felt their congregation was too small or they couldn't get a good turnout. I just want to assure you all that it is always "worth our while" to come and sing, especially on a Sunday night. God has blessed so many concerts of worship that started out that way. Singing for a small group is still a lot better than staying home and doing nothing. Please consider our ministry for your church in 2015 and beyond. We still will work within the financial abilities of any church. NICARAGUA TRIP - The trip is just over a month away and we still need to raise about $650 for our Nicaragua Missions Trip. I want to thank those who have helped us make this trip a reality, and we are almost there. If you can help us take the message of Jesus Christ to this place where the soil is so good, please go to www.BKMinistry.org or send a tax-deductible gift to Bill and Karen Itzel Ministries 4215 Salem Bottom Rd. Westminster, MD 21157. The deadline is right around the corner! As long as God provides the means to go, we will continue to reach out to the needy people of Nicaragua with the gospel.
